Wyandot Mutual Insurance Co. is seeking a detail-oriented, motivated professional to add to our team. The Marketing Field Representative works as a liaison between the agencies who sell our products and the company. The Marketing Field Representative must be diplomatic, willing to learn, and willing to travel in a defined geographic location. Knowledge of people is just as important as knowledge of insurance.
The indiviudal in this key role will be responsible for:
The successful individual in this role will be responsible for:
Developing and maintaining agency relationships through on-site visits and phone calls.
Informing agents of their production goals as well as of important business developments and changes to the Company's policies and practices.
Working with agents and internal departments to maximize production levels and research issues that impede production levels.
Maintaining agency contracts, paperwork, and Errors and Omissions compliance records.
Planning annual agency meeting(s) and present training information.
Creating and developing new agency appointments and providing necessary training.
Terminating agency relationships that are not successful.
Focusing on successful advertising, incentive, and social media programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Background or experience in marketing and/or insurance.
Above average communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to organize data, manage time, and make decisions independently.
Exhibit sound judgement and negotiation skills with ability to resolve complex issues.
